Terms of Service

These terms cover use of Mzansi Connect — the customer discovery app, and the Mzansi Business admin apps used by listed businesses. By using either, you agree to the terms below.

The service

Mzansi Connect connects customers with local businesses for discovery, booking, ordering and payment. Each listed business runs its own front-of-house app on the platform and is responsible for the products, services, availability and pricing it offers. Mzansi Connect provides the platform connecting the two — we are not a party to the transaction between a customer and a business unless stated otherwise.

Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Businesses are responsible for keeping their listing, hours, pricing, and stock information up to date.

Plans & billing

• Business plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) are billed monthly, or annually at a discount, in advance.
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time — changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
• No setup fees. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't use the platform to list a business you're not authorised to represent, to mislead customers, to circumvent payments due to another business, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Intellectual property

The Mzansi Connect platform, branding, and underlying software remain our property. Content you or a business uploads (listings, photos, descriptions) remains yours — you grant us the right to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

Liability

The platform is provided "as is." We work to keep it available and accurate, but we're not liable for losses arising from a business's own products, services, or conduct, or from service interruptions outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
