This policy explains what personal information Mzansi Connect collects, why, and what rights you have over it — whether you're browsing as a customer, running a business on the platform, or just enquiring below.
What we collect
- When you enquire or list your business: business name, contact name, email, phone number, business category, chosen plan, and anything you write in the message field.
- When you use the customer or business apps: account details, bookings and orders, payment references (processed by our payment provider — we don't store card numbers), and messages between customers and businesses.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and get your business onboarded.
- To operate the customer and business apps — bookings, orders, payments, and notifications.
- To improve the platform and keep it secure.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to run the service: our hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, and — when you book or order — the specific business you're dealing with. Each of those parties is bound to only use your data for the purpose we share it for.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see "Your rights" below.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged in and the site functioning. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
